A New Patient?
Please bring your referral letter from your GP, Medicare details and private health details (if you are insured) and any relevant test results if applicable.
We highly recommend getting a referral from a GP to enable you to receive the Medicare rebate for your consultations and also your surgery.
No. This is not a bulk billing clinic.
For operations that are purely for cosmetic purposes (without a functional component), most private health insurers will not cover any of the costs, however, please contact our staff and your health insurer if you are unsure.
No. Private health insurance will often contribute to surgical procedures, but does not provide a rebate or contribution for consultations. If you have a referral letter from your GP, a rebate is sorted through Medicare.
Yes. Mr Walsh regularly consults children with ENT concerns and performs operations on children if required.
Mr Walsh operates out of Linacre Private (in Hampton), Masada Private (in St Kilda East), Holmesglen Private (in Moorabbin), and Cabrini Private (Malvern only).
Yes. We have a couple of car parks onsite at the front of the building dedicated to patients. Directly outside the clinic, there is all day street parking as well as 2 and 4 hour street parking on Redan Street which is just around the corner from the clinic.
